Self test for Irlen Syndrome

The tests cannot give a diagnosis but may show the possibility of Irlen and how it may be affecting you.

The full diagnostic process consists of screening to check if a client has Irlen syndrome and if the Irlen method will help them, this can lead on to a full diagnostic session.

Irlen East has a network of Irlen qualified screeners throughout Eastern England who may work locally.

A tinting consultation can then be arranged through our centre  at Stowmarket. In some circumstances, the diagnostician may travel to the client's school/college, home or place of work by prior arrangement.

All Irlen screeners and diagnosticians are from the educational, medical and/or other professions and have in addition undertaken an Irlen approved training programme.

Helen Irlen was the first to identify and develop tinted lenses to treat the visual perceptual difficulties associated with Irlen Syndrome. Irlen lenses can be safely worn ALL the time and should not colour what the wearer sees.
